2024: Your life review journal
Reflect on your year with thirty journal prompts and take stock of your life before you start the new year.
Welcome Lovely Wildhearts to this surprise end-of-year reflective journal. I made this as a Christmas gift and to say thank you. 2024 has been full of twists, turns, and unexpected surprises. The fact you’re still here reading my words means the world to me.
How has your year been?
I invite you to download the journal (scroll down and you’ll see it), and then take some time to reflect on your year, acknowledge how far you’ve come and the lessons you’ve learned during 2024.
I believe that our outer world is a reflection of our inner world. I’m currently living in, and working in, a building site. This is an accurate reflection of how I’m rebuilding my life in a different way. I won’t lie, it’s driving me a little cray cray, but I’ve learned that a life built from childhood trauma is life built on squirty cream. This time, I’m empowered and I’m creating much firmer, solid foundations.
Over the Christmas period, I usually sit down and take stock of the year gone by. I’ve created this helpful Honest Life Review so you can do the same. This digital journal has thirty prompts designed to help you uncover the deeper lessons from the past year.
“Clear is kind. Unclear is unkind.” - Brene Brown
I’ve called this new journal an honest review, because I write in it unedited, like nobody is ever going to read it. Sometimes the truth is brutal, but it will set you free! This journal is not just about reliving the past; it's about integrating those experiences into your sense of self, acknowledging your growth, and setting intentions for the future. You might find aspects of your journey that you haven't fully processed yet or you might discover a newfound clarity for a situation that otherwise left you confused or overwhelmed.
Write with compassion & a sense of curiosity for what you might uncover
Remember, there’s no right or wrong way to journal – this is your unique journey of self-discovery.
If you’re struggling for inspiration, go with the first thing that pops into your head or scroll through your the camera roll on your phone to jog your memory!
